Vince Neil Announces Mötley Crüe Will Record Four New Songs
Singer Vince Neil has announced that the legendary hard-rock band Mötley Crüe is going back in the studios to record four new songs.
"Exciting news!" Neil tweeted. "I'll be going back in recording studio in a few weeks with the boys to record 4 new songs by Mötley Crüe. Rock On!"
So far, none of the other members of the band has confirmed this news, nor the official social media accounts of Mötley Crüe.
That said, in late August, the band posted a photo on Facebook of drummer Tommy Lee and bassist Nikki Sixx in the studio with Bob Rock, producer of Mötley Crüe's acclaimed and successful album "Dr. Feelgood "(1989). Lee posted the same photo on Instagram.
It is not yet clear when they are recording these new songs, but everything suggests that they will be included in "The Dirt", the next biopic about Mötley Crüe that Netflix is preparing.
The film is currently in production and will present Douglas Booth as Sixx, Iwan Rheon ("Game of Thrones") as guitarist Mick Mars, Daniel Webber ("The Punisher") as Neil and rapper Machine Gun Kelly as Lee.
Mötley Crüe performed the last show of his "Final Tour" almost three years ago. The musicians signed an agreement to never go on tour again under the name Mötley Crüe.
