Slash premiered new single with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators 'Driving Rain'
Although there are still a few concerts left from the Guns N 'Roses reunion, Slash is resuming his solo career with the premiere of "Driving Rain", the first single from his new album with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators .
After "Apocalyptic Love" (2012) and "World on Fire" (2014), the emblematic guitarist meets with his colleagues to continue his "soloist" career with an album titled "Living the Dream", which will be published on September 21st. September.
Recently, the guitarist said he started writing songs for the new album during the "World on Fire" presentation tour. He came up with ideas and then presented them to the group during the sound tests, at which time they developed them. In January 2018, during a break from the Guns N 'Roses tour, Slash reunited with Kennedy & The Conspirators in a rehearsal room in Los Angeles, where they ended up writing new songs and polishing the old ones.
Slash had revealed in March plans to record an album, when he issued a press release along with a picture of him along with Michael "Elvis" Baskette in the studio . "I'm excited about the new things we're preparing for this next record; It has some great songs and it has a great live feeling, "he said.
Slash's traveling companions are Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass) and Frank Sidoris (guitar). The band will present their new album with an American tour that begins on September 13 in Los Angeles and will run until October 14, with a concert in Sacramento. In November Slash still has commitments with Guns N 'Roses.
