Slash Indicates Certain Possibility of New Guns N' Roses Album
Slash has indicated that there is a certain possibility of recording a new album by Guns N' Roses. He did it in an interview with Eddie Trunk on his program Trunk Nation, which is broadcast by Sirius XM.
The guitar legend spoke of a potential new Guns N 'Roses LP saying: "There's been talk about that. I think everyone wants to do it, and we just have to see what happens. We have been busy doing this tour running around the planet."
Last month, Axl Rose did not rule out the possibility of new songs from the band. "At the moment our focus is on tours and shows, but it seems that everyone is pushing that, so you never know," he said when asked about the chances of a new album.
This would be the band's first album since the infamous "Chinese Democracy," which took 15 years to record and was released in 2008. Slash and bassist and founding member Duff McKagan had left the band in 1996 and 1997, respectively.
The last album in which Slash appeared was the cover album "The Spaghetti Incident", 1993. Later, Axl Rose was the only original member of the band that remained until Slash and McKagan rejoined in 2016.
The reunion of the dubbed "classic formation" of Guns N 'Roses returned in 2016 to head Coachella, before heading out on their colossal Not In This Lifetime Tour, which is still underway.
