Paul McCartney Starts New Year With New Song 'Get Enough'
Paul McCartney is starting 2019 with a new song called "Get Enough", which comes just four months after the release of his most recent album, "Egypt Station".
This material comes after the release, last month, of the single "Who Cares". The song, part of "Egypt Station", has a video clip against bullying starring Emma Stone.
As with some "Egypt Station" tracks, "Get Enough" was co-written and produced by Zach Skelton and Ryan Tedder. While McCartney dealt with most of the instruments, the other two artists figure as musicians and associate programmers. As a curious fact, the song has a strong presence of autotune .
The use of autotune created a real crack in rock. In the last installment of the Gardel Awards, Charly García was categorical and said that "you have to ban autotune ". Juanse's vision is different : "In 'Stéreoma' there is a song, a ballad called 'Forgive me' where I use an effect that uses a style that I do not really like, but I use the autotune as an instrument, as part of an instrument ", he reflected on the use of this recording technology. "It was like when (Luis Alberto) Spinetta used the bandoneon ... it was accepted because it was him. Afterwards, many musicians began to use it, but at the beginning it was difficult ".
Posting on Instagram, the British musician took the opportunity to greet his fans for the New Year: "I hope everyone has a really brilliant New Year, with all the fabulous things they expect to come true. And I hope that things work on all political fronts, that we have more peace than ever, that people take care of themselves and that we have a good time time."
