Mick Jagger Posts Video That Suggest Possible New Stones Song
Mick Jagger has shared a video on his Twitter account that features the Rolling Stones frontman working on what appears to be a potential preview of a new song from the rock band.
The 22-second clip shows Jagger playing guitar singing the lyrics “I really want to tell the truth,” along with a caption that reads, "2019 - all about writing, recording....and a tour!"
Jagger's 19-year-old son, Lucas, commented on the post, asking, "Lol wut...When's the tape dropping?".
Stones guitarist Keith Richards earlier hinted In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that the band will spend a week in the studio working on a new album before their 2019 U.S. No Filter Tour kicks off in April. It's not clear if Jagger's video footage is from those sessions.
The Rolling Stones haven't released a studio album since their Blue & Lonesome covers album in 2016.
The "No Filter Tour" kicks off in Miami Gardens, Florida, on April 20.
