Madonna's Next Album Will Arrive in 2019
Madonna has confirmed that the release of her next album will be postponed. The disc, the fourteenth in the career of the "Queen of Pop", will come in 2019.
Although originally it had been announced that the material would be published in 2018, the iconic pop star commented in an interview with WWD that she plans the new album to arrive only in 2019.
In the interview, in which she promoted a new beauty line, she said: "I'm finishing my album, which I'm going to release next year. Yep, between sprays and creams, I'm actually making music. I can not leave my daily work."
This album, still untitled, will be Madonna's first release in four years, from "Rebel Heart" (2015).
Recently, in an interview with Vogue Italia magazine, Madonna complained that all current music "sounds the same". "Everything is so formulated … each song has 20 invited artists and they all sound the same".
