Judas Priest Released Their New Video of 'No Surrender'
Judas Priest released the video clip of "No Surrender", song that is included in their latest album "Firepower".
The clip was shot in the band's studio and includes guitarist Glenn Tipton in action, before announcing the health problems that prevented him from participating in the band's current tour. However, Tipton continues to make appearances as a guest when health conditions permit.
"'No Surrender' captures the true spirit of the metal and metalheads from all over the world find a united voice in the message of this song," the band told Loudwire.
"When you honestly believe in yourself and live your life in your own way, without giving up, nothing will stop you from living your dream."
Judas Priest recently launched a charity called Tipton , which is dedicated to raising funds for research into a new type of treatment for Parkinson's disease, which is estimated to affect more than 6 million people, including the guitarist.
One of the first offers of the campaign includes a t-shirt with the slogan "No Surrender" printed on it. Tipton called it "very appropriate considering the determination it has to summon life and overcome this disease, it's the kind of thing that always happens to 'another person'."
"Firepower", released last March, became the album that ranks best in the entire race, reaching the 5th place in both the United Kingdom and the United States. It was also number one in Sweden, number two in Germany, Austria and Finland, and number three in Canada and Switzerland.
"The mantra we had was 'classic heavy metal,'" said singer Rob Halford . "There were days when the boys said, 'Oh, this is a great riff,' and I would say, 'No, it's not heavy enough.' With each song, we had to keep going back to that pillar of dedication."
Judas Priest is currently touring Europe. From August 21, they will embark on a tour of the United States in the company of Deep Purple.
