Classic Rock Artist's Join William Shatner on New Christmas Album
Star Trek legend William Shatner is boldly going Rock N' Roll For Christmas, and he's bringing some of music's biggest names along for the journey.
Shatner Claus: The Christmas Album features Shatner performing holiday favorites alongside a host of famous musicians including; Todd Rundgren, Artimus Pyle, Elliot Easton, Rick Wakeman, Ian Anderson, Billy Gibbons and more.
The 13 track album released October 26, includes one original song, titled “One for You, One for Me”.
Although Shatner is commonly recognized as an actor, he also has a 50-year history as a recording artist. His distinct, spoken-word style of delivery has been mimicked on several occasions, including an episode of Family Guy.
William Shatner has periodically colluded with artists from the rock genre. In 2013, His LP "Ponder the Mystery" was produced by Yes bassist Billy Sherwood and featured guest performances from Robby Krieger of the Doors and Steve Vai.
Shatner Claus: The Christmas Album is the actor’s second LP of 2018 and tenth album of his career. Earlier this year, he joined with Jeff Cook of Alabama for a collection of country songs titled, "Why Not Me?".
