Bruno Mars Chosen to Play Prince in Biographical Film
According to the British press, Bruno Mars has been chosen to play Prince in a new Netflix movie about the life of the singer.
Mars, who paid tribute to Prince with a performance at the Grammy Awards last year, has been a fan of "Prince of Minneapolis" since childhood. Now, it is reported that he will embody it on the small screen.
"Bruno says it's probably going to be the most stressful movement of his career if it happens," a Netflix source told The Mirror. "Prince was one of his idols, so he was asked to assume such an important role, especially when it will be his acting debut."
"The offer has come out of nowhere. Bruno loved acting when he was younger, but it is not a path that has been explored," he added.
