Does Axl Rose Save The World With New Looney Tunes Song?

New David Bowie Documentary To Explore Early Career

It's been more than 10 years since Guns N 'Roses released their latest album, "Chinese Democracy," and although there is hope for new music from the Guns in the near future, we may have received a new song by Axl Rose thanks to the "New Looney Tunes" television program, available on the Boomerang streaming service.

The episode of "New Looney Tunes" presents Axl as an animated character. His appearance begins when he asks Bugs Bunny, Porky and company if they know where the civic center is, revealing that he will do a concert there with his band, Steel Underpants.

Looney Tunes characters tell Axl that a giant asteroid is about to hit Earth, with Bugs Bunny saying, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" And Axl answering, "Does that mean I should use again? a mesh shirt and a kilt again? "

The real idea of Bugs is that Axl's band touches so hard that it blows up the asteroid. The only problem is that Axl's band is not with him, since a giant pig fell from the sky and crushed his touring microphone. To summarize, the Looney Tunes characters come together to play with Axl Rose a song called "Rock the Rock", which ultimately explodes the asteroid and saves the world.

The song itself sounds more like AC/DC than Guns N 'Roses, and it is not known which musicians accompanied Axl in the recording. Recall that Axl Rose led AC/DC in 2016, when Brian Johnson had to retire from the band due to hearing problems.

Axl has yet to confirm if he is actually the voice of the character, but sounds very similar, and, as Ultimate Classic Rock pointed out, Guns N 'Roses used the theme of "Looney Tunes" to open the concerts of their "Not In This Lifetime" tour.

Last week, guitarist Richard Fortus revealed that there would be new music by Guns N 'Roses "sooner than previously thought" .
