Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion and More to Honor Aretha Franklin at Tribute Concert


New David Bowie Documentary To Explore Early Career

Several artists will gather to honor Aretha Franklin at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 13.

The festival, called "Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul ", will feature performances from Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Celine Dion, John Legend, Janelle Monáe, SZA, Common, Brandi Carlile, Alessia Cara and many more.

The artists will perform songs from the extensive catalog of the deceased legend of soul.

About the event, former Aretha Franklin collaborator and record executive Clive Davis said: "Aretha was more than the Queen of Soul. She was a national treasure. This unique concert, with many of the best artists of today, will celebrate Aretha in a spectacular way as befits her unique talent."

Aretha Franklin died on August 16, 2018 after a battle against pancreatic cancer. She was 76 years old.
