Another Brick In The Wall The Opera In Cincinnati Through July 31
An opera, based on the 1979 album "The Wall" by Pink Floyd, debuted in Cincinnati on Friday.
The opera version of "Another Brick in the Wall" was composed by Julien Bilodeau and produced by Pierre Dufour.
The 2½ hour long drama will be screened at the Cincinnati Music Hall July 20 through July 31.
The opera conveys the story of a disillusioned rock star named Pink, who reflects on his troubled childhood through hallucinations and memories, as well as his stay at a mental heath institution.
"Another Brick in the Wall The Opera", which premiered successfully in Montreal in 2017, features an international cast of soloists, the Cincinnati Opera Chorus, and the famous Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, original lyrics and music from "The Wall"
